The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, David Hoff and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Awssa closes the distance and clinches.
Awssa effectively controlling the action here.
Awssa with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Awssa tries to land a knee to the head but Jones blocks with his arms.
Awssa is pressed up against the cage. Jones has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Awssa down to the mat. Awssa avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Awssa closes the distance and clinches.
Come on Awssa - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Awssa landing knees to the head.
Jones tries to circle away but Awssa has him pinned against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Awssa manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Awssa connects with a knee to the head.

Jones is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Awssa to keep the fight standing.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Awssa takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Awssa receives a warning from the referee for stalling.
Jones is looking for a takedown.

Jones is trying to pull guard but Awssa turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Awssa looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Jones throws a series of punches but Awssa avoids them all with ease.

Awssa drops Jones with a big knee straight up the middle! Jones is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Oh Jones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Awssa connects with a nasty looking knee right to Jones's face.
Awssa has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Jones - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Awssa, and another! Jones is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
