Pearson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Justin Bieber ft. Ariana Grande - Let Me Think Bout You. Emelianenko is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: NeiroMonk. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooh!!! Pearson has knocked Emelianenko down with a huge combo! Pearson steps away and waves a wobbly Emelianenko back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Fedor Emelianenko has been cut.
Emelianenko fails to land the takedown.
Pearson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Project:X Fight Team in the buildup to the fight.

Emelianenko shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pearson as he avoids it easily.
James Pearson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fedor Emelianenko.
Pearson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Emelianenko stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Emelianenko looks winded!
Emelianenko tries for a takedown but Pearson circles away easily
and Pearson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That has opened up Fedor Emelianenko's cut even more.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pearson drops Emelianenko with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Emelianenko looks back up at him and smiles so Pearson waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Pearson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Emelianenko looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Pearson lands a nice looking body shot.
Emelianenko switches off momentarily and Pearson cracks him with a monster right hand! Emelianenko topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Pearson dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Pearson!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). James Pearson!
James Pearson bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
In defeat, Fedor Emelianenko stepped up to the mic, saying 'Keep it real!'.
