The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haunts wants to clinch.
Hawkins slips a straight right by Haunts.
Hawkins tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Haunts paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Haunts closes the distance and pushes Hawkins back into the cage.
Haunts misses with a knee strike.
Haunts creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Hawkins tries to pull guard but Haunts holds him up against the cage and eventually Hawkins drops back down to his feet.

Haunts is pressed up against the cage. Hawkins has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Haunts down to the mat. Haunts avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Haunts darts in trying to clinch

and Hawkins counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hawkins.
Haunts doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Hawkins wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Haunts has him pressed against the cage.

Hawkins gets control of Haunts's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hawkins will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Haunts is trying to stand but he's just given Hawkins his back.
Hawkins slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hawkins lands a shot to the head.
Hawkins connects with a big shot to the side of Haunts's head.

Hawkins has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Haunts! Can he survive? No! He's out! Hawkins gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
