Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Evan Mitchell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masakatsu Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gomi has chosen Lose Yourself as his entrance music. Evan Mitchell is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Evan Mitchell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Masakatsu Gomi!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Felipe Paraventi and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomi tests Mitchell's chin there with a solid looking shot.

It looks like Evan Mitchell has been cut.
A right-left combo lands from Gomi.
Mitchell shoots for a double leg takedown but Gomi sprawls well. He's pushed Mitchell's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Gomi missing with a left hand there. Mitchell was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Mitchell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gomi tries to avoid it but Mitchell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gomi to the ground. Gomi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mitchell dodges the punch combination from Gomi.
Gomi keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Evan Mitchell. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gomi clobbers Mitchell with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Mitchell is rocked!
Mitchell drops his hands momentarily. Gomi doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Mitchell staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Mitchell doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
