Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Petru Dijieo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cassius Slay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slay will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Slay walks into a left hand.
Slay takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Slay fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dijieo takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Slay tries to clinch up but Dijieo circles away and keeps his distance.

Slay instigates a clinch.
Dijieo can't break the clinch.
Slay dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.

Dijieo manages to break the clinch.
Slay tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dijieo swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dijieo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Slay but Slay pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Slay scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Slay lands with a shot to the body.

Slay closes the distance and clinches.
Slay lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Dijieo backwards.
Slay is looking to break free of the clinch but Dijieo has double underhooks.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Slay.
A short uppercut from Slay.
A left hand lands to the body for Slay.
Dijieo is breathing heavily.
Dijieo wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Slay lands a right hand.

Dijieo is rocked!
A body shot lands from Slay.
Oh Dijieo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Slay breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Slay rushes Dijieo and presses him up against the cage.

Slay darts in and clinches Dijieo up against the cage.
