Nice defenses there by Blake.
A counter left hand to the body from Blake misses its target.
Putski misses with a lunging right hand
and Blake counters with a straight right hand.
Putski throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Blake moves away from the strike by Putski.
Blake throwing a counter right hand but Putski manages to avoid it.

Blake stuns Putski with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ivan Putski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blake takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Putski throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Good exchange - Putski coming out on top.
Putski might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Blake uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Putski.
Blake displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Putski throws out the jab.

and Putski takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Putski is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Blake.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Putski cracks Blake with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Putski has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Blake to stand back up!
