Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Federico Aiace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sonny Fatu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Kavanagh and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fatu avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Federico Aiace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fatu keeps the fight on the outside.
Fatu cracks Aiace with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Aiace tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Fatu cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Aiace closes the distance but Fatu moves to the side
and Fatu counters with a left to the body.
Aiace wants to clinch
letting Fatu counter with a right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fatu is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Aiace fails with an attempt to clinch.
Fatu is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Aiace with a body shot.

Fatu lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Aiace at a distance.
Aiace takes one to the side of the head.
Fatu swats away the attempt to clinch by Aiace.
Aiace closes the distance but Fatu moves to the side
and Fatu counters with a right hand to the body.
Aiace tries to clinch there but Fatu circles away.
A cross from Fatu lands.
Fatu tests Aiace's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Aiace is rocked!
Fatu darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Aiace's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Fatu before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
