The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva gets tackled into the cage by Alvarez. Alvarez maintains the clinch.
Silva is trying to push Alvarez away but Alvarez has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Silva breaks from the clinch.
Silva scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Silva misses with a body shot.
Alvarez really is a fat lump.

Alvarez on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Alvarez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Silva paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Silva lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Silva lunges at Alvarez with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Alvarez's hand.
Silva lands with a straight right. Alvarez didn't see that one coming.
Silva uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Silva digs a good hook to Alvarez's body.

Silva lands a jab.
Silva takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Alvarez tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Silva manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
The fighters circle momentarily. Silva darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Alvarez is rocked!
Silva lands a big right hook! Alvarez looks hurt but is still standing! Silva lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Alvarez falls down and Silva dives in with a huge hammer fist! Alvarez's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Silva runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
