Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chiku Maneno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Vieira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vieira has chosen Machine Gun Kelly–Till I Die as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Chiku Maneno has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Chiku Maneno seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vieira thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Maneno's head.

Maneno manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Maneno has had enough of the clinch but Vieira keeps him there for the moment.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Maneno lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Vieira feints and as Maneno raises his hands in defense, Vieira changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Vieira slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Vieira is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Maneno knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
