Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yonic throws a jab when Thompson was well out of range.
Thompson changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Yonic throws a sloppy head kick and Thompson moves out of range easily.
Yonic closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Thompson did well to prevent Yonic getting side control.

Well, if Yonic is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yonic is taking a breather. Thompson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Yonic seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Thompson for as long as he can get away with.

Thompson has his foot on Yonic's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Yonic works his way back into a safe position though.

Yonic stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Thompson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Yonic is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Yonic is breathing heavily.
Yonic is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Thompson has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Yonic is looking to defend but Thompson has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Yonic! Thompson pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Yonic taps out and this one is all over!
