Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tomas Mercado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dillon Danis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Danis has closed the distance and engaged Mercado in a clinch.

Mercado gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Mercado drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mercado jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Danis closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Mercado is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Danis can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
