Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Isamu Yamada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Stout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yamada kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Yoshida Brothers - Ibuki. Sam Stout has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stout fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Yamada, pushing him back against the ropes.
Yamada looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Yamada has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Stout is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Yamada tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Stout just stands there and leans against the ropes.
Yamada drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Stout gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Isamu Yamada. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Yamada changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Stout fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Stout looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Yamada!
Yamada is looking to get back to his feet here but Stout is keeping cool and he's managed to take Yamada's back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
