Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Masamba Toov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Congo Colossus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Colossus manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Toov on his heels. He'll look to pass Toov's guard now, I'm sure.
Toov is looking to stand back up but Colossus counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Toov.

Toov is looking to improve his position.
Colossus slows the pace down in half guard.
Colossus tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Toov on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Toov tries to get out of the position.
Toov wants to get back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Toov is looking for a sweep. Colossus is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Colossus performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

Colossus is controlling the pace.
Toov looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Colossus winds up and cracks Toov with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Toov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Colossus on the ground.
Colossus is thwarting Toov's attempts to control the position.
Colossus content to control rather than advance.
Toov is looking to improve his position.

Colossus is looking for a kimura but Toov is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Colossus to get the leverage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Toov wants to get back to full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Colossus takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

It looks like Congo Colossus has been cut.
Colossus shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Toov pinned against the cage. Toov gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Toov scores with a nice strike.
Colossus darts in looking for a takedown but Toov gets double underhooks and turns Colossus into the cage.
A little feinted left hand from Toov on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Colossus takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Colossus tries to clinch but Toov is having none of it.
Colossus shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Toov circles away from the clinch attempt.

and Colossus takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Masamba Toov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Congo Colossus.
Colossus takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Masamba Toov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Colossus wants to clinch up but Toov keeps it at a distance.
Toov circles away from the clinch attempt
and Toov counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Colossus fails with the takedown
and Toov counters with a right hand to the body.
Toov catches Colossus with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Toov swings and misses with a hook to the body.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Colossus drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Colossus shoots for a double leg takedown but Toov sprawls well. He's pushed Colossus's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Toov fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Toov throws a monster overhand right that drops Colossus! Toov follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
