Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, John Niel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Leonard Owusu!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Niel tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Owusu was well out of range. Poor timing from Niel.
Niel keeps Owusu at a distance using the push kick.
Niel avoids the body shot from Owusu.
Niel moves forwards but Owusu connects with a nice, crisp jab.
A jab lands there for Niel.
Owusu scores with a shot to the body.
Niel takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Niel definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Owusu scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
A slow jab from Owusu misses its intended target.
Niel lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Owusu throws a half hearted mid kick.
Owusu tries a head kick but it misses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Niel defending well as Owusu loads up on a big left hand.
Owusu scores with a hook.
A jab lands there for Owusu.
John Niel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Owusu lands a jab to the nose.
Owusu moves into range and connects with a jab.

Niel is rocked!
Niel looks to throw a body kick
letting Owusu counter with a right hand.
Oh Niel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Niel takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Niel jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Owusu fakes the leg kick and cracks Niel in the body.
Owusu fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Niel throws the left hand but Owusu avoids the punch easily.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Owusu! Niel is out on his feet! Owusu rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Niel is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Niel is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Leonard Owusu!
