The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Devron connects with a body shot.

Mcfadden throws a head kick that misses
and Devron cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Devron avoids the head kick by Mcfadden.
Devron misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Mcfadden has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Mcfadden won't let Devron get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Mcfadden has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Devron after a bit of a struggle.
Mcfadden has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Mcfadden gets control of Devron's arms and successfully pulls guard. Mcfadden will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Devron would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Ismael Mcfadden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Devron counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Devron drops Mcfadden with a naaaaasty hook - Mcfadden is in real trouble here! Devron dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
