Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rich Corleone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michio Rai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rai shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Corleone's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Corleone wants to get back to his feet but Rai is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rai's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Rai drops back looking for a leg! Corleone is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Corleone manages to kick Rai off! Rai jumps back into Corleone's guard.
Rai missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Rai trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Corleone working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Rai.
Rai stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Corleone swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Corleone is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Corleone blocks a head kick by Rai.

Rai gets back to full guard.
Corleone stands up over Rai, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Corleone throws a big right hand that misses.

Rai is looking for a triangle but Corleone pushes his legs off easily.
Corleone wants to control from the top but Rai keeps moving.

Rai should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Corleone has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Rai is proving hard to escape from.

Rai is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Corleone lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Rai throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Corleone passes Rai's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

It looks like Corleone is going to stand back up.

Corleone stands up and beckons Rai to join him on the feet.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Corleone cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Corleone has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Rai's face.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Rai is rocked!
