Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Albert DeSalvo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Satoru Takada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). DeSalvo comes to the cage accompanied by Am I Evil?. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Albert DeSalvo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Satoru Takada!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takada connects with a body shot.
Takada misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from DeSalvo.
Takada closes the distance and lands a one-two.
DeSalvo has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Holding Cell in the buildup to the fight.
DeSalvo does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

DeSalvo shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Takada's guard.
Takada is trying to control the position from the bottom.
DeSalvo wants to pass the guard but Takada is keeping the position.

DeSalvo tries to free his leg and advance position but Takada is retaining full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as DeSalvo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

DeSalvo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Takada walks away with a smile on his face. DeSalvo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

DeSalvo feints and as Takada raises his hands in defense, DeSalvo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

DeSalvo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no DeSalvo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
DeSalvo trying to control the action but Takada is working from the bottom.

DeSalvo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
