PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Francois Dumont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brody Battle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Battle has chosen Pantera - Shedding Skin as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Battle throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

and Battle counters with a good, hard body kick but Dumont shrugs it off.

Battle ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dumont moves away.
Battle shoots in looking for a takedown but Dumont manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Battle's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Dumont feints and then cracks Battle's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Battle down.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
