The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brilliance tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jacobs sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Brilliance somewhat.
Brilliance tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
A left and a right from Jacobs both land. Nice combination.
Brilliance shoots in for a takedown but Jacobs shows good takedown defense.

Jacobs gets a clinch.
Brilliance has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jacobs is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Brilliance has control of Jacobs's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Jacobs regains control of the situation pretty easily.
