The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anstey lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

It looks like Abed Nadir has been cut.
Nadir tries to clinch there but Anstey circles away.

Nadir has hold of Anstey's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Anstey manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Anstey slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nadir lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Anstey is rocked!

Nadir lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Anstey! More strikes land and this one is all over! Nadir jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

A relieved looking Abed Nadir thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
