Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ismael Mcfadden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Diego Iaquinta!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Ryoma Takatsuka and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iaquinta swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Iaquinta moves into range and clinches up with Mcfadden.

Iaquinta breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mcfadden swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Iaquinta wants to counter with a clinch but Mcfadden pushes him away.
Iaquinta looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Iaquinta shoots in for a takedown but Mcfadden shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Iaquinta avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Mcfadden jumps guard but Iaquinta turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Iaquinta is still trying to improve position.
Mcfadden content to control rather than advance.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Iaquinta slowing the pace effectively.

Iaquinta looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Mcfadden is avoiding damage well.

The fight stays on the outside here - Mcfadden looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mcfadden lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Iaquinta manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Mcfadden on his heels. He'll look to pass Mcfadden's guard now, I'm sure.

Mcfadden has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Iaquinta has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Iaquinta drops back, looking for a kneebar! Mcfadden looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Mcfadden looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Mcfadden!

Diego Iaquinta is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Iaquinta is trying to improve his position.

Well Iaquinta has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Diego Iaquinta tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
