PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Konrad Curze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yayi Zinsou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Curze comes to the cage accompanied by RIse of the Night Haunter. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Konrad Curze!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yayi Zinsou!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Curze fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Zinsou has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Zinsou has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Curze.
Curze tries a head kick but it misses.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Curze enables Zinsou to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Curze manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Curze will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Zinsou forces his way into half guard.

Zinsou's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Zinsou looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Curze is looking for a sweep. Zinsou is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Zinsou scores with a big shot! Curze's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Curze! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
