The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bakajovic throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Fernando, as that shot connected.
That kick from Fernando tenderised Bakajovic's leg. Bakajovic is trying to keep his angry face on.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Fernando! But no joy.

Fernando's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Fernando escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bakajovic is looking to wear down Fernando with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bakajovic accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Fernando lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Fernando uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bakajovic has time to react.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bakajovic looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Adolfo Fernando decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
