The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Smith - just one landing.
Smith thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Ayala if he has to take too many more of those.

Smith rushes Ayala and presses him up against the cage.
Smith working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Smith misses with a hook from the clinch.
Smith lands with a right to the head.


It looks like Alden Ayala has been cut.
A nice left hand lands by Smith.
Smith scores with an uppercut up the middle.
A right hook to the body lands for Smith.
Smith scores with a shoulder strike.


Ayala is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Smith lands with a left to the head.
Oh Ayala is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Smith creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Ayala's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Ayala drops to his knees and Smith pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lance Smith!
After the fight, Lance Smith was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
