The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandez fails with a takedown attempt.
Alddo wants to counter with a clinch but Hernandez pushes him away.
Hernandez fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Alddo avoids it really well and circles away.

Alddo shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hernandez is trying to defend but Alddo finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Hernandez tries to roll over but Alddo keeps him under control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Alddo is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Hernandez has hold of Alddo's hands but Alddo slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Alddo seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Alddo is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Oh Hernandez is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Hernandez has hold of Alddo's hands but Alddo slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Alddo is taking a breather. Hernandez says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Hernandez seems to have got his legs back now.
Alddo passes to side control.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Hernandez is breathing heavily.
Alddo cracks Hernandez with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Alddo looks up at the clock and then as Hernandez takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Alddo smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Alddo lands a strong strike to the head of Hernandez. That's dazed him! Alddo looking to finish here. Hernandez is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Alddo lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
