Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Isaac Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rollo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie has chosen Jiu Jitsu: Apaga Mas Não Bate as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 3 - 2, fighting out of London, Rollo Gracie!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie doesn't manage to clinch there - Hayes circles away.
Hayes circles away from the clinch attempt.
It looked like Hayes wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Gracie tries to land a leg kick but Hayes saw it coming and moves away.
Gracie moves away from the strike by Hayes.
A slow jab from Hayes misses its intended target.
Gracie changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Gracie clinches up against the cage.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Gracie has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Hayes misses with a punch on the inside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hayes blocks a body shot from Gracie.

Hayes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hayes avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hayes throwing a counter right hand but Gracie manages to avoid it.
Hayes bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Gracie instigates a clinch.
Gracie tries for a takedown. No joy.

Hayes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hayes won't be happy with that.

Gracie trying to pass the guard but Hayes defending well.

Hayes has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gracie is working away from the top position though.
Gracie tries to pass to full mount but Hayes defends it.
Hayes tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Gracie has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Gracie fails to move to back control.

Gracie trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Hayes keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Hayes tries to hold on but Gracie pushes him away.

Gracie working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Gracie wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hayes doing his best to control the position. Can he escape?
Gracie trying to control but Hayes is having none of it.
Hayes is trying desperately to improve position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rollo Gracie dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Hayes gets tackled into the cage by Gracie. Gracie maintains the clinch.
Hayes misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Gracie swings wildly with an uppercut but Hayes uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hayes digs a right hand underneath Gracie's ribcage. Gracie let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Gracie is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Hayes is keeping busy.
Gracie blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Hayes misses with a shot to the kidneys.
A short left from Hayes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gracie tries to pull guard but Hayes holds him up against the cage and eventually Gracie drops back down to his feet.

Gracie manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Hayes slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Hayes lands a couple of digs.

Gracie is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Hayes frees his head nicely. Oh but Gracie has switched to an armbar! Hayes is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Rollo Gracie tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
