Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Devon Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Hardey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Devon Garcia has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Devon Garcia seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia tries to clinch but Hardey moves out of range.
Hardey tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A telegraphed right hand from Garcia misses the target.
Garcia misses with a wild combination.
Garcia fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Hardey swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Garcia wants to clinch up but Hardey keeps it at a distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hardey misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hardey looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Hardey is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Garcia stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Hardey moves into the clinch successfully.
Hardey has had enough of the clinch but Garcia keeps him there for the moment.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Garcia is trying to drag Hardey to the mat but Hardey just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Garcia lands a knee to the body.
Hardey is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Garcia gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Garcia throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Hardey blocks it with crossed arms.
Hardey tries to pull guard but Garcia holds him up against the cage and eventually Hardey drops back down to his feet.

Garcia connects with a nasty looking knee right to Hardey's face.

Hardey has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Garcia is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Hardey goes for a takedown attempt but Garcia pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
