The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Eliza Hachem and Topper Green.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Venturo fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Michaels is out of range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Michaels! But no joy.
Venturo bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Michaels's head backwards.
Michaels avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Michaels will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Venturo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Venturo swats away the attempt to clinch by Michaels.

Michaels takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
