Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Odom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Johnston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lucas Odom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Johnston!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnston tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Odom swivels and escapes.

Johnston closes the distance and pushes Odom back into the cage.
Odom has Johnston pressed against the cage, preventing Johnston from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Odom tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Odom tries to pull guard but Johnston holds him up against the cage and eventually Odom drops back down to his feet.
A frustrated look appears on Johnston's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Odom wants to sweep but no luck.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Odom's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Johnston connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Odom scrambles back to his feet.

Odom darts in looking for a takedown but Johnston gets double underhooks and turns Odom into the cage.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Johnston takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Johnston throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Odom blocks it with crossed arms.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Odom shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Johnston manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Johnston has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Odom is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nick Johnston showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Johnston changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Odom tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Johnston manages to circle out of the way.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Odom has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Johnston finds it's way round the side to connect with Odom's head.
