Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lyle Chipperson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michio Kaku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chipperson comes to the cage accompanied by Chip Chipperson - Tears. Kaku comes into a darkened arena with his song building. We will rock you kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lyle Chipperson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Michio Kaku!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Russell Pearce and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chipperson with a hook.
Kaku misses with a takedown attempt - Chipperson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Kaku takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Kaku gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Chipperson.
Kaku ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kaku has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kaku there as he acknowledges the shot.
Kaku finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Chipperson lands with a hook. Kaku tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Kaku shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Chipperson counters with a straight right hand.

and Chipperson counters with a crisp one two that drops Kaku! Chipperson thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Kaku to his feet! Kaku is in big trouble!
Lyle Chipperson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michio Kaku.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Chipperson cracks a nice hook into Kaku's ribs.
Chipperson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Chipperson sends Kaku crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Chipperson is motioning to the referee to let Kaku up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!


Kaku is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chipperson scores with a jab to the body.
Kaku shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Chipperson counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
A head kick misses from Kaku.
We've been told by Chipperson's head coaches at Schneebly's Circuit Training that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Kaku throws the left hand but Chipperson avoids the punch easily.
It looked like Chipperson was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Kaku.
Kaku has his takedown stuffed
and Chipperson counters with a straight right hand.

and Chipperson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Kaku looks winded!

Chipperson cracks Kaku with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kaku looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Chipperson finish him?
Kaku is still on wobbly legs! Can Chipperson finish him?

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kaku tries to clinch up but Chipperson circles away and keeps his distance.
Kaku seems to have recovered his senses.

Chipperson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kaku sprawling to the canvas! Kaku rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Chipperson finish him?!
Kaku shoots and misses
and Chipperson counters with a right hand to the body.
Kaku with a lazy takedown attempt
and Chipperson counters with a huge left! Kaku is in big trouble! He's backing up but Chipperson isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Kaku from any more damage. A dominating finish by Chipperson!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lyle Chipperson!
Lyle Chipperson took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'I got a YUUUUUGE peckah! That's why I won!'.
Michio Kaku was interviewed post fight and said '...'.
