The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers shoots in and bounces WhiteHead off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Rogers thows a big elbow that misses.
Rogers is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Rogers has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Rogers pushing down on WhiteHead's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
WhiteHead trying to control from the bottom.
Rogers is looking for a kimura but WhiteHead is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rogers to get the leverage.

Rogers is sneakily working for an arm triangle but WhiteHead sees it coming and defends easily.

WhiteHead is refusing to be controlled, as Rogers sits in half guard.
Rogers is working for a kimura but WhiteHead is defending it quite comfortably.
