Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matti Nieminen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Niel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nieminen's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, ATC - All Around The World (la la la la la la la la). Matti Nieminen could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to John Niel's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nieminen will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Nieminen takes one to the side of the head.
Niel fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Nieminen doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Niel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nieminen moves away.
Niel lands a front kick.
Nieminen lands a nice looking body shot.
Nieminen has a takedown stuffed.
Niel fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Niel connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Niel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Niel pushes Nieminen away with a front kick.

Nieminen throws a series of punches but Niel moves out of range.

Nieminen has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Niel finds it's way round the side to connect with Nieminen's head.
Niel feints and then cracks Nieminen's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Nieminen down.
Niel looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Nieminen is looking to land body kicks.

Niel clinches.

Nieminen has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Niel is trying to keep an underhook but Nieminen manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Niel wants to get back to his feet.

Nieminen decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Nieminen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Niel looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Nieminen on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Niel scores with a jab. Nieminen acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Nieminen dives in and grabs Niel's left leg, looking for a takedown. Niel pushes down on Nieminen's head and hops out.

Nieminen chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Niel can pounce on him.
Niel lands a big head kick that sends Nieminen to the canvas! Niel follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
