The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright avoids a punch combination nicely.
Wright avoids the head kick by Minotari.
Minotari swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wright fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wright circles away from the clinch attempt.
Minotari throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Minotari tries to work over Wright's front leg with a kick but Wright checks it.
Marco Minotari seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Minotari tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Minotari misses with a wild combination.
Minotari throws a nice looking combination but Wright bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wright shoots in for a takedown but Minotari shows good takedown defense.
Minotari lands a slapping body shot.
Minotari misses with a body kick.
Minotari looks to land a combination but Wright avoids it well.
Wright fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Wright moves into range and clinches up with Minotari.
Minotari has had enough of the clinch but Wright keeps him there for the moment.
Wright keeps control of Minotari as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Wright has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Minotari clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Minotari has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.

Wright is looking for the choke from the back position but Minotari is controlling his hands well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wright is working the ground and pound. Can Minotari escape?
Minotari is trying to get back to his feet but Wright has full control of the position and if anything, Minotari has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Wright has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Minotari.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Wright's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Wright is working for a rear naked choke. Minotari is not defending it well and Wright has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Minotari refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Minotari's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
