Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Len Henry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sino Ako (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sino Ako has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Len Henry's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Len Henry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sino Ako!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ako moves into the clinch.

Len Henry's cut is getting worse.
Ako lands a good knee to the midsection. Henry won't want to take too many of those.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Henry tries to stall but Ako uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Ako is trying to maintain a safe position but Henry gets an underhook and turns Ako into the cage.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Henry postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Ako throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Ako has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Henry off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Ako escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Ako fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Henry, pushing him back against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ako pushes Henry off and scrambles back to his feet.
Sino Ako seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ako cracks a nice hook into Henry's ribs.

Ako has closed the distance and engaged Henry in a clinch.
Henry tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ako just stands there and leans against the cage.

Ako jumps into guard, dragging Henry to the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ako pushes Henry off and scrambles back to his feet.

Ako gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Ako gets control of Henry's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ako will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Ako is still trying to improve position.

Ako is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Ako is looking to stand up but Henry isn't so interested in that idea.
Ako lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Ako really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Henry. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ako scores with a one two! Henry had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ako throws a hook to the side of Henry's head but Henry sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ako tries to bum rush Henry with a series of wild strikes but Henry uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Henry jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ako walks away with a smile on his face. Henry gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Ako has managed to clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Ako pulls guard.
Ako wants to get back to his feet but Henry passes into half guard.
Ako trying to get back to full guard but Henry takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

Ako tries to buck Henry off but Henry takes his back!
I really don't envy Ako right now.
