The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Winnfield looking to score a takedown here. Kane is defending well but Winnfield drives through and ends up in Kane's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Winnfield wants to stand but Kane has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Kane lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Winnfield had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kane defends it easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Izaiah Kane showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Kane throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Winnfield tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kane is in Winnfield's guard.

Kane is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Winnfield defends it well.

Well Kane has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
