The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Balerina gets the takedown into side control.
Franco regains half guard, as Balerina was trying to land strikes.
Balerina thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Franco's head.

Balerina has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Balerina thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
