Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Derick Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paddy Bateman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rose clobbers Bateman with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Paddy Bateman has been cut.
Bateman has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bateman there as he acknowledges the shot.

and Bateman cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Bateman takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
We've been informed that Bateman has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Rose drops his shoulder and cracks Bateman with a huge uppercut! Bateman goes down! Can Rose finish him?

Rose pushes a forearm under Bateman's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Bateman is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
