The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Judah lands a body shot.
Jones shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Judah eats them both and turns towards Jones to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Ras Li Judah has been cut.
Jones misses with a leg kick
and Judah counters with a nice leg kick.
Judah wants to land a leg kick but Jones is out of range.
Jones paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Jones throws a body shot but no joy.
Jones misses with a body kick.
Jones wants to land a leg kick but Judah is out of range.
Judah slips a jab and a cross from Jones.
Judah steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jones.
Judah misses with a straight right.
Jones tried to score with a low kick but Judah checks it.
Jones checks a leg kick nicely.
Jones throws a shot from downtown. Judah moves away and avoids it.
Jones misses with an uppercut. Judah saw that one coming.
It seemed like Judah was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Judah throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Judah scores with a jab. Jones acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Judah throws a hook to the side of Jones's head but Jones sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Judah ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jones moves away.
Judah misses with a hook to the body
and Jones connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Jones misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Judah.
Judah lands a nice looking body shot.
Jones wants to slow Judah down by chopping away at his legs.
Nice uppercut there from Judah.
Jones throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Judah connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Jones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Judah manages to avoid it.
Jones misses with a lunging right hand
and Judah cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Judah connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Jones fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Judah checks it well.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Jones lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Judah has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Judah and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Judah looks to throw the jab but Jones is out of range.
Decent striking displayed by Judah there.
Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Judah lands with a good body shot.
Judah tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jones was well out of range. Poor timing from Judah.
Jones defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Judah.
Jones wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Judah checks a low kick from Jones.
Judah throws a chopping leg kick but Jones manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Judah scores with a jab to the body.

and Judah scores with a counter punch that sends Jones to the canvas! Judah smells blood - he's punishing Jones with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Jones has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ras Li Judah was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
