The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ajvarez closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Ajvarez drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Winters manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ajvarez has Winters in his guard.
