The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cole takes the fight into the clinch.
O Reilly gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Cole.
O Reilly drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Cole gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
O Reilly avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Cole trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
O Reilly manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
O Reilly landing strikes, looking to finish!
O Reilly is landing with some decent strikes but Cole is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

O Reilly fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
O Reilly takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, O Reilly cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Cole is squirming around, avoiding O Reilly's attempts to control the action.

Cole is wriggling around trying to escape.

Cole bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
O Reilly is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
O Reilly looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

O Reilly is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are battling for position here. Cole manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Cole had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. O Reilly is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Cole Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take O Reilly's back instead.
Cole doesn't have the hooks in and O Reilly manages to turn into his guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Paddy O Reilly dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Cole tries to close the distance and clinch but O Reilly swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Cole drives through and clinches with O Reilly against the cage.
Cole wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

O Reilly keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

O Reilly flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
O Reilly trying to hold on to Cole's head to control him but Cole postures up.
Cole prevents O Reilly from improving his position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Cole is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so O Reilly is just riding it out for now. Cole eventually gives up the hold.

Cole wants to pass the guard but O Reilly is defending well.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
