The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cheek misses with a straight left.
Paul changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Cheek dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Paul is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cheek sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Paul tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Cheek slaps away a takedown attempt from Paul, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Paul shoots in for a double leg but Cheek sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bradley Paul. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Paul bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cheek's head backwards.
Cheek scores with a punch to the head.

It looks like Bradley Paul has been cut.

Cheek sends Paul crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Cheek is motioning to the referee to let Paul up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Paul is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cheek ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Paul's jaw. Paul's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Cheek does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
