Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kim De Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Gleen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jason Gleen enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gleen moves into the clinch successfully.
Gleen manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Gleen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gleen closes this distance looking for a takedown but De Silva circles away.

Gleen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. De Silva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

De Silva is really struggling to control Gleen but he's trying to hold on to the position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Gleen throws a right hand that De Silva ducks under and follows up with a left that De Silva also avoids with ease.

De Silva throws a counter high kick but Gleen was just alert enough to avoid it.

Gleen shoots in looking for a takedown. De Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Gleen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. De Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Gleen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. De Silva tries to avoid it but Gleen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag De Silva to the ground. De Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Gleen misses with a takedown attempt - De Silva sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

De Silva lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
