The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris throws an off balance right hand
and Madrox counters with a three punch combo that has Harris backing up. Harris nods at Madrox to acknowledge the strikes.
Harris is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Harris forces Madrox back against the cage and clinches.
Madrox using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Harris has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Madrox goes for a takedown attempt but Harris pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Madrox uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Harris.
Madrox uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Harris.
Harris takes a swing at Madrox's ribcage but misses.
Harris swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Madrox doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Harris counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Madrox!

Madrox sneaks out the side door and pushes Harris away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Harris misses with an uppercut.
Madrox misses with a low kick.
Madrox fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Harris closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Madrox did well to prevent Harris getting side control.
