Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Billy Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Michael Johnstone and David Hoff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Martin as he avoids it easily.
Martin leaves White with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

White closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Martin did well to prevent White getting side control.
Martin works his way to full guard. Good work.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if White can do anything to dispel that myth.

That was a close round but I would say that Billy Martin will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

White shoots for a double leg takedown but Martin sprawls well. He's pushed White's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Martin moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Billy Martin is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Martin is fighting off a takedown attempt but White is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Martin to the mat. Martin regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Martin pushes White off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
