Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ronald Mcintyre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sandro Franco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Wagner Zegers and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcintyre shoots in and drives through. Franco sprawls well.

Franco tries to sprawl but Mcintyre drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Franco is trying to escape back to his feet but Mcintyre uses the scramble to pass into side control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Mcintyre thows a huge punch but Franco dodges it nicely.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Mcintyre lands a nice short elbow.
Franco has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mcintyre is working away from the top position though.

Mcintyre has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Franco can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Mcintyre has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Mcintyre has a closed guard, preventing Franco from standing up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Franco wants to pass the guard but Mcintyre is keeping the position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Mcintyre will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Franco shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mcintyre napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Franco is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Mcintyre has escaped the position, nice work there.

Franco goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Mcintyre has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Franco but great work by Mcintyre.

Mcintyre has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Mcintyre is looking for a sweep. Franco is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Franco is keen to just control but Mcintyre is a slippery customer.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Franco lands a nice short elbow.
Franco wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mcintyre keeps working.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

That was a close second round but I would say that Ronald Mcintyre will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!



Franco closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Mcintyre quickly recovers to half guard.

Mcintyre is defending against the submission attempts here by Franco.
Mcintyre tries to roll over but Franco keeps him under control.

Franco is stalling here. Mcintyre is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Franco seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Mcintyre has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Franco is really stuck here.

Mcintyre is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Franco is defending well though. Mcintyre let's go of the attempt for now.
Mcintyre lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Mcintyre throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.
Mcintyre will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Franco defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Mcintyre's arms.
Franco trying to control the action but Mcintyre just sinks the hooks in.

I really don't envy Franco right now.
