McGuire has chosen Metallica - Enter Sandman as his entrance music. James McGuire will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McGuire looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Bowie looking for submissions off his back.
McGuire not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
McGuire takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
McGuire sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bowie defending well though.

Bowie looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McGuire throwing shots but Bowie is blocking nicely.

McGuire is trying to control the action in half guard but Bowie is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Bowie looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and McGuire pushes past his half guard into mount!

McGuire looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Bowie on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bowie tries to get out of the position.
McGuire can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bowie is looking to escape.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, McGuire cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

It looks like Jimmy Bowie has been cut.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
McGuire is landing with some decent strikes but Bowie is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

McGuire lands a big shot there that rocks Bowie but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McGuire postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Bowie badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of McGuire around the waist but McGuire pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! McGuire is the winner by TKO! McGuire jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
