Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Cake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Od Bulerk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cake is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. The key to victory for Jake Cake has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bulerk shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cake as he jumps to the side.
Bulerk avoids the head kick by Cake.
Cake is breathing heavily.
Bulerk dives in for a single leg takedown but Cake sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Cake is looking to counter punch.
Bulerk misses with a kick to the body.
Cake is looking to counter the offense by Bulerk and move into the clinch.
Cake stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cake wants it to stay on the feet.
Cake was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bulerk.

Cake turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Cake manages to end up in side control.

Bulerk tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bulerk has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The referee asks Bulerk politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Bulerk prefers to stall for the moment though.
