The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lenner throws a lazy head kick

so Jamal counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Jamal advances to half guard.
Jamal moves into full mount! Lenner won't be happy about that!
Jamal looking to ground and pound but Lenner is blocking nicely.
Lenner is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Jamal is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Lenner to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Lenner shrugs it off.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jamal unloads with some shots from mount but Lenner bucks and avoids them well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
