Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Merkling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sefki Cookie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Mark Merkling has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Mark Merkling seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Cookie lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Merkling is breathing heavily.
Merkling's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Cookie lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Cookie keeps control of Merkling as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cookie drops Merkling onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Merkling is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Merkling is rocked!
Cookie unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Merkling! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Cookie is unloading with more strikes now! Merkling drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sefki Cookie!
