Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rudy Gay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dave Spencer will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rudy Gay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dave Spencer!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jonathan Paton and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gay lands a nice looking body kick.
Gay seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
A solid leg kick lands there for Gay.
Gay looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Despite the aggression on Spencer's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Gay pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Spencer was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Gay throws out a leg kick but Spencer moves out of range and Gay only half commits.
A chopping leg kick lands by Gay.
Spencer looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Gay throws a sloppy head kick
and Spencer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Spencer looks to land a right hand but Gay moved out of range.
Gay misses with a body kick.
Gay checks a leg kick.
Gay misses with a few strikes there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A low kick from Gay misses
and Spencer counters with a stiff right hand.
Gay moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Spencer scores with a sloppy right hand. Gay should have avoided that one.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Spencer misses with a hook. Gay ducked under it nicely.
Spencer blocks the body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gay walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Spencer checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Spencer! But no joy.
Spencer moves into range and clinches up with Gay.
Gay taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Gay has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Spencer uses from the top position.
Gay has a closed guard, preventing Spencer from standing up.
Gay is looking to cinch up a triangle. Spencer throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Gay's body to avoid the submission. Gay has instead reached around Spencer's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Gay arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Rudy Gay!
Rudy Gay decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
